Over the last 40 years as a tradesman painter, repairing holes in plasterboard walls and ceilings was a large part of my work. Most plasterers will not come out and patch up holes in walls or ceilings as the job is too small for them. I offer to repair small plaster holes and painting repairs as the main part of my business and also offer a quick painting refresh for customers who just want a tidy up and a fresh look.

If you would like to freshen up your rental property, unit or office with one coat of paint let us know. You may be selling your property and need it cleaned up with a fresh coat of paint which can make your home look fresh, modern and more appealing or just need to brighten up your own property. This quote will save you money if this is what you are after. If you rent and have a lot of marks on the walls, most times it is easier and faster for me to apply a quick coat with a similar colour rather than spending hours trying to clean them (It will be easier to pass your inspection).

We look after your belongings and use clean drop sheets throughout your home and over any furniture. We clean, fill, sand, seal, and prime if required, before using only premium quality paints.

About Us
We were formally O’Kane Brothers Painters and renowned for being quality professional house painters. As a long established family owned painting company operating in Queensland since 1991 we have decades of experience in all aspects of interior and exterior painting.

Our late father first started painting in the early seventies, and us brothers, Peter and Dan, started their apprenticeship in the early eighties. We were known as John O’Kane and Sons. Those were the days it felt like we painted half of Brisbane when we think back. We remember hanging off a ladder bracket on a steep incline at Red Hill three stories high in our twenties (wearing short white stubbies and a tight shirt and volleys) … haven’t times changed since then!

In 1991 Peter & Dan started our own painting company and of course, we employed our father who was in his sixties by then (we are not sure who was the boss … for those who work with parents you know what we mean!). Our father worked until his early seventies but unfortunately passed at 78. We have met many people over the years in our trade but still hold our father as one of the best tradesmen in his day.

We’ve been house painters in the Brisbane and Sunshine Coast areas since 1991.
